Aniimo Egg Heist Guide:Find Eggs, Extract & Claim Rewards

Official Aniimo artwork Steam

Found the egg? Great. You're only halfway home.

Find an Egg Nest inside the Lost Sanctum. Dig and Twine with the egg, deliver it to the Egg Boat, then choose Safe Evacuation. Claim the reward from your mail.

The 7-step route

Pick Team Mode, not the locked tile

Two similar names do not mean two identical entry requirements.

  1. Open Operation: Egg Heist Team Mode and choose the lowest available difficulty. The creator’s Normal lobby has no Egg Heist rank requirement; account level is a separate question.
  2. If the mode is missing, level 50 is the creator’s reported unlock, not an official requirement we could confirm. Check the locked tile’s own message before grinding or spending a ticket.

Done when: Team Mode can be selected. You are not trying to enter Chaos for your first run.

Pack for a run you can afford to lose

Your first run does not need a shopping spree.

  1. Open Inventory in the lobby. Equip a Simple Backpack, Attack Amplifier, and Protective Unit suitable for your chosen difficulty; read their tooltips and durability before buying replacements.
  2. Select a main Aniimo for combat. Fill the assist slots with evolved Aniimo whose ability badges actually appear, including healing if available.
  3. Read the Beginner Protection counter. Outside any protection shown by your client, a failed run can cost carried supplies and equipped gear. Do not bring something you cannot afford to replace.

Done when: The backpack and gear are equipped, assist abilities appear, and you know your failure penalty.

Read the escape conditions before looting

The pile of loot is optional. The exit is not.

  1. Read Escape Condition on the left of the HUD. The September 20 Normal example lists one team egg and a 20,000 Eggshell Coins counter. Read your current prompt for what must be completed; do not assume an old list means every condition is required in your run.
  2. Locate the Egg Boat before heading inland. Loot toward the displayed requirement while checking both backpack slots and weight. A free slot does not mean you are under the weight limit.
  3. Leave time for the return trip. Once the required counters are met, another chest is a choice, not part of this first-extraction plan.

Done when: You know the boat’s position, the current counters, and how much time remains.

Get into the Lost Sanctum

Use this run’s map, not a route memorized from someone else’s lobby.

  1. Open the map and select a Lost Sanctum entrance marker. The creator’s example uses Track on a side entrance, then interacts with the portal. Check the return route before continuing.
  2. If the corridors are confusing, open the community map linked below, select your difficulty, and compare the entrances and connecting rooms with your live map. Check that the shapes match before following a route; a marked nest location does not guarantee an egg.

Done when: You are inside the Sanctum and can identify the way back to the island.

No entrance at all? The September 30 patch, v1.0.3629693.0, fixes an outer-island missing-entrance bug. Check your client version before blaming your navigation. Do not restart mid-run just to test a fix.

Dig the nest, then Twine with the egg

The egg has no combat build. You still do.

  1. Find a nest, clear the immediate threats, and use Dig. Follow the on-screen interaction prompt until the egg is out, then Twine with it.
  2. Roll toward the Sanctum exit teleport and back across the island to the boat. If ambushed, Untwine to fight, then Twine again. With teammates, agree who carries and who clears the path.

Done when: You are moving the egg toward the boat, not leaving it behind while searching more rooms.

Deliver first. Evacuate second.

Do not let the delivery message talk you into one more room.

  1. At the Egg Boat, use Deliver Egg and check the delivery message. In the creator’s example, delivery sends the egg to mail but does not end the match.
  2. Then choose Safe Evacuation and confirm. Look for the successful result. Delivery, evacuation, and collecting the reward are separate actions.

Done when: The result confirms a successful evacuation. You have not just pressed Deliver Egg and walked away.

Claim the egg and put your gear away

Check the mailbox before declaring the egg missing.

  1. On the post-run loot screen, move the recovered items into Inventory. Check your equipped gear and durability before queuing again.
  2. Open in-game mail and claim the egg reward, then check your main Inventory. A player who could only see eggs in the Egg Heist inventory later found them in the main Inventory too. If the reward is still absent, keep the result and delivery confirmation for the missing-reward checks below.

Done when: The egg reward has been claimed, and the recovered loot is in Inventory.

Where did the run go wrong?

The mode is still locked

Read which tile is locked: Team Mode, another operation, or Chaos. Account progression and operation rank are not interchangeable. Level 50 remains a creator report, not a guaranteed fix.

Check the entry screen →
There is no entrance anywhere

A missing portal on the outer island is not the same problem as getting stuck on a loading screen. The September 30 patch names the missing-entrance bug specifically.

  1. Check the live map for both entrance markers and use Track if a marker is present.
  2. If neither entrance appears, record the map and client version. After the run, check for the September 30 resource update before queuing again.
  3. If an updated client still has no entrance, send the map, platform, region, and run time through official Support. Do not assume every missing marker has the same cause.

Why can I not find any eggs?

A full backpack does not mean you have found an egg room. Check inside the Lost Sanctum, match your layout, and look for a nest rather than another chest.

  1. If you are still exploring the outer island, enter a Lost Sanctum portal. Inside, compare the entrances and connecting rooms on your map with the map reference for your difficulty.
  2. Look for a nest on the ground and use Dig when the interaction appears. A chest or loose loot is not an egg pickup. After digging, Twine with the egg to carry it back.
  3. Check unexplored branches and the locked rooms shown for that layout. Read the lock requirement before spending a key; do not assume a Nightmare or Chaos route uses the key for your beginner run.
  4. If the clock is running down, check your live Escape Condition before another detour. Players disagree about guaranteed spawns, so do not risk the run on the promise that the next room must have an egg.

I found the egg, but carrying it gets me killed

Do not try to fight while Twined with the egg. The player tactic is to Untwine, handle the threat, and return to the egg. Clear a route with teammates rather than racing through every enemy.

Return to the carrying step →
The boat will not let me finish

Check the live requirement and the boat interaction separately. A full backpack is not proof that the escape requirement is met, and Deliver Egg does not end the run.

  1. Read the remaining Escape Condition and its counters. Check whether the wording refers to your team or you, and whether it asks for one condition or all of them. Do not replace that prompt with a universal coin target.
  2. If you are carrying an egg, use Deliver Egg and look for the mailbox confirmation. Finding or digging the egg is not the same as handing it over.
  3. Use Safe Evacuation and read its confirmation. If a requirement remains blocked, record that exact message; if loading takes over, use the loading-screen checks instead.
Check delivery and evacuation separately →
Loading is stuck at 0% or loops at 99%

A restart is not a proven rescue. Players describe both recovering a run and losing equipment after restarting. The missing-entrance patch does not establish a fix for these loading symptoms.

  1. Record the loading percentage, whether you were entering or leaving the Sanctum, the time and region, and whether teammates can still play.
  2. Do not count on the match timer pausing: one player’s report describes the run expiring while loading. Do not count on either waiting or restarting to save the loot.
  3. If the client cannot recover, keep the result and send a report through Menu > Support or F10 when accessible. Between runs, check for updates before risking another valuable loadout.

The September 30 Outpost reload instruction is for a different scene-loading issue. We have not verified it as an Egg Heist extraction fix.

The match ended, but I cannot find my egg

Check delivery, then mail, then your main Inventory. That separates an egg never handed in from a reward already claimed or an unresolved account issue.

  1. Check the delivery confirmation and result. If you left while someone was still carrying an egg, do not assume that finding it meant it had already been delivered.
  2. Open in-game mail. If the egg reward is unclaimed, claim it. If it is already claimed, look in your main Inventory rather than only the Egg Heist bag.
  3. If there is still no egg, keep the result, delivery message, and mail state. Send your version, platform, region, run time, and screenshots privately through official Support. We cannot inspect or restore an account reward.
Check where the reward goes →
The egg is in the Egg Heist bag, but I cannot use it

Check your main Inventory. In the player thread, the original poster corrected their question after finding the same eggs there; replies point to using them at a hatchery, not interacting with the Egg Heist inventory.

If the egg is absent from the main Inventory too, use the missing-reward checks rather than treating the bag icon as proof of a usable reward.

I want to enter Chaos next

The developer requires Tier IV Elite Egg Seeker and a Chaos Ticket. Chaos has stricter escape conditions and higher rare-drop rates, not guaranteed rare eggs. Finish ordinary runs reliably before spending the ticket.
