Aniimo egg hatching:Which pod should you use?

Official Aniimo artwork Steam

A rare egg is not a bill for a rare pod. Keep a basic Aniipod when the egg already guarantees what you want. Ultra adds at least Elite; a Sparkling Cube adds Perfect and Sparkling.

Missing or ambiguous description? Read the exact item before choosing a rare pod. An egg label that says a form is possible is not a promise that it will hatch.

From egg to claimed Aniimo

Read this egg, not its color

Open the exact egg in your main Inventory. Look for an explicit Potential floor and a separate Sparkling guarantee. Alpha, Prismana and a gold background are not, by themselves, a Perfect guarantee.

Done when: You know what the description promises, or you have left the relevant choice as Not sure.

Use the Hatchinator the egg allows

Take the egg to an Outpost or Homeland Hatchinator. Read its use text first: a special egg may name a specific location. If it is still in an Egg Heist bag, finish delivery and claim the mail reward before looking in your main Inventory.

Done when: The correct egg is accepted by the Hatchinator.

Let its own timer finish

Start incubation and use the timer shown for that egg. Ready does not mean claimed. Return to the same Hatchinator when it finishes; do not spend speed-up items just to test which pod to use.

Done when: The incubated egg is ready to hatch.

Check the pod before confirming

At the pod choice, compare its hatching effect with the egg description you checked earlier. Ultra supplies at least Elite; the Cube supplies Perfect and Sparkling. A better wild-catch multiplier is not a better hatching guarantee.

Done when: The chosen pod adds something you actually want, or it is a basic Aniipod for an as-is hatch.

Finish the reveal and claim

Confirm the pod you intend to spend, continue through the hatch interaction, and use Claim. A finished timer or a reveal animation is not the final collection step.

Done when: The hatched Aniimo has been claimed.

Check the grade and Sparkling separately

Open the Aniimo's details. Compare Potential with the floor you selected, then check Sparkling separately. For an unexpected result, keep the original egg description, chosen pod and result before making another hatch.

Done when: You have checked the two properties rather than judging the hatch by its color or species alone.

Perfect is not a max-stat promise

The grade, Sparkling, and individual innate attributes are separate checks. A basic pod can meet an already-guaranteed Perfect goal without supplying every possible benefit of a Cube.

The Cube's item text describes a chance for recommended innate attributes to exceed 8 on Perfect Aniimo. That is not a guarantee that every attribute is maximized. For an extra-stat chase, compare the current item wording rather than treating the table as a stat-roll calculator.

Before you spend another pod

The bag says Perfect, but the hatch screen does not

Back out before confirming the pod. Reopen the exact egg in Inventory and compare the item and its guarantee. Players have reported a missing line between these screens; an absent line is not a reason to spend a Cube blindly.

Return to the egg check
It says Sparkling. Why is the grade not Perfect?

Sparkling and Potential are separate properties. If the egg promises only Sparkling, a basic pod does not add a grade floor. Ultra adds at least Elite; a Cube adds Perfect. Decide which floor you want before confirming.

Compare the combinations
The egg is already Perfect. Why would I use a Cube?

Perfect alone does not guarantee Sparkling. A Cube can still add that guarantee. Its item text also describes an extra-stat chance for Perfect Aniimo, so a basic pod meeting a grade goal does not mean a Cube is useless for every goal.

Separate the extra-stat decision
Does a Prismana or Alpha egg need a Cube?

Read its Potential guarantee instead of deciding from its form alone. Keep a basic pod for an as-is hatch, or compare what Ultra and Cube add for your goal. A Cube is not a species selector or a way to make any egg guarantee Prismana.

Compare this egg with your goal
The timer finished, but I have not collected the Aniimo

Revisit the Hatchinator used for this egg. Complete its hatch interaction and Claim, then open the result's details. If the item names a location restriction, follow that location rather than moving between machines at random.

Finish the claiming step
